Mid-term Inspection

Situation

We were contracted by a lessor to manage the start to finish aspects of a portfolio of aircraft, including liaison with the operator to ensure aircraft availability for physical inspection and plan out the inspections to meet set deadlines, including the inclusion of the reports they required.

Solution

On initial review of the reports required, it was clear that information from previous inspections was either missing or had been misunderstood by the multitude of contract staff that had completed the reports in previous years. FlyerTech took the reports and drove a process to ensure the reports were completed to the same standard at each inspection.

Results

FlyerTech completed the project within the set deadlines. The process we implemented drove efficiencies within the project, allowing us to complete the work and streamline the project. This resulted in overall cost savings for both the lessor and operator.
